Cosplay Snap offers photo shoots at anime conventions and events across the United Kingdom. This is your chance to get some detailed, high-quality photos of your costume to show off to the world, or a souvenir of your time at the convention.

We have two different kinds of photo shoots: public and private.

p u b l i c   p h o t o   s h o o t s

These photo shoots are free for anyone, with no booking required. If you approach a Cosplay Snap photographer and we have some time free, then we'll spend that time getting some great photographs of you and your costume.

Public photo shoots last about ten to fifteen minutes, and are usually done at nearby locations chosen by us. We'll take about ten to fifteen photos, and the best few will be posted up in the Cosplay Snap galleries. From there, you can choose to buy a high-quality print of your photo from us to be sent to you through the mail. Unfortunately, we cannot offer on-site prints at conventions at this moment.

p r i v a t e   p h o t o   s h o o t s

This is the "deluxe" version of our public photo shoots. A typical private photo shoot will last between half an hour to an hour, with anywhere between 40 and 60 photos taken of your costume. From that, we choose the 20 best photos, and you will receive high-quality digital copies through email or photo CD.

We don't just do individual photo shoots; we also do groups as well. We can accept groups of up to five cosplayers for a shared private photo shoot.

w h a t   y o u   r e c i e v e

- The complete attention of the camera for over half an hour. Unlike a passing photo at a convention that is hastily set up and taken, during a photo shoot we have the time to properly use the surroundings and posing to produce the best photos of your costume that we can.

- Twenty high-quality digital copies of your photos delivered either via email or by photo CD. Very few photographers will furnish you with digital copies of your photos; we like to think that this is one of the main advantages of our service. The copies you will receive will be of a slightly lower resolution than the originals, but we do this to protect our copyright rights.

- A greater degree of control over the photo shoot. If you have any preferences for location, style or pose, then we're happy to oblige.

- Your photos will be displayed in the Cosplay Snap gallery, and your private photo shoot will be highlighted in the Featured Photo Shoot section on our front page for at least one week.

p r i c i n g

Payment for the photo shoot is made right before it begins, so if something unfortunate happens that causes the photo shoot to be cancelled, no money is exchanged. Prices are non-negotiable and will be made clear before the photo shoot begins.

As for prints, we offer prints of all our photos at the above prices. You'll get a chance to preview your photos after the photo shoot is finished and can choose to order (and pay for) prints then. Alternatively you can wait to see the final result, in which case payment is made over Paypal. The prints will be done at the original resolution.

We're currently taking bookings for private photo shoots for Amecon 2008. The available times are listed below. If you're looking for a specific photographer, then the times each one is available is indicated.

Seraphim will also be doing photo shoots for the Cosplay Ball on request.

Your Name: (Your real name)
Badge Name: (Your badge name, so we can recognise you, or the name that you wish to be credited with on the site)
Type of Photo Shoot: (Public or private)
Cosplay Character: (Who you're cosplaying. Also include the series that the character is from, if any.)
Desired Date/Time (first choice): (When you would like the photo shoot to take place)
Desired Date/Time (second choice): (This time will be used if your first choice is unavailable. If your second choice is unavailable, an email will be sent informing you of this.)
Prefered Photographer (if any): (Redkun, Seraphim or No Preference.)
Preferences: (If you have any special needs or preferences for your photo shoot, such as location, list them here)

For groups, list the information of everyone involved in the photo shoot.

If successful, you'll receive a confirmation of your booking through email and further instruction on meeting times and such so that the photo shoot goes smoothly. If for some reason you cannot make the booking either before or during the convention, you must cancel the booking.

We're willing to book photo shoots outside of the conventions or special events that we're listed to attend, but bear in mind that special pricing will be attached to the shoot. The photo shoot will be done on our terms, and things such as location and pricing will be discussed upon the request. If you wish to book us for such a photo shoot, send us an email.
