planned cosplays: I'm really into the Shin Megami Tensei series so I'm planning on cosplaying characters from that. First up is Roland from Digital Devil Saga 2, but one day I would really like to cosplay Serph. He's probably the best silent protagonist I've seen in a game.

Fan fact: I've yet to cosplay someone from an anime.

I currently have a few more cosplays in the making for Amecon 07:

- Uchiha Sasuke [Naruto Shippuden]

- Natsuo [Loveless]

- Larsa Solidor [Final Fantasy XII]

I don’t like to plan my cosplays until the last minute (I know, not a good idea!) but I’m always watching new anime and always coming up with new cosplay ideas that I can never make up my mind! I will hopefully be cosplaying Masahiro no Abe [Shounen Onmyouji] sometime soon because I’ve been dying to make his costume ever since I started watching the anime. I also have plans for Saya [Blood+], Kantarou [Tactics] and several unconfirmed others including some J-Drama costumes because live action just isn’t cosplayed enough!

favourite animes: Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion is my clear favourite. It's a masterpiece that manages to include everything that's cool about anime. Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's hooked me from the very first episode (I wasn't aware it was the second series at the time.) Mai-Otome was full of surprises, and dumped so much misery on its characters in the second half. Fruits Basket is a sugar-sweet affair that actually makes you feel good about life.

So hard to pick favourites so this is a highly edited list ::

BLEACH, Blood+, Code Geass, D-Grayman, Fruits Basket, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fushigi Yugi, Gravitation, Groove Adventure Rave, Hikaru no Go, Kiba, Loveless, Lovely Complex, NANA, Naruto, Ouran High School Host Club, Paradise Kiss, Romeo x Juliet, Sailor Moon, Shounen Onmyouji, SpeedGrapher and Tactics.

favourite mangas: So many to choose from...  Chrono Crusade made me cry during the last volume, it was so well done. Hayate the Combat Butler is always hilarious, as is Those Who Hunt Elves. X-Day is a surprisingly touching tale. And I do enjoy Naruto: for a character-driven, shonen series about ninjas doing Cool Things, it's very good.

Air Gear, Angel Sanctuary, Death Note, Fushigi Yugi, Hana Yori Dango, Hot Gimmick, Loveless, NANA, Naruto, Peach Girl, Planet Ladder, Rave Master, Tactics and X-Day.

favourite games: Again, this is hard because I play a lot of RPGs. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was probably the first 60+ hour game that I replayed just because it was so much fun the first time. Shadow Hearts: Covenant was the first game that I felt got everything right. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is frighteningly addictive, and Final Fantasy XII has an incredible amount of things to do as well as a superb localisation job. Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's Call is one of the most challenging, but satisfying mature RPGs I've ever played, and Digital Devil Saga is a heartbreaking, wonderfully dark tale.

Final Fantasy IX, Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, Dead or Alive and Devil May Cry.

favourite live action: I really love tokusatsu (henshin hero) shows, so my favorite shows fall under the Super Sentai and Kamen Rider series. Kamen Rider Ryuki is my favourite of the latter, and Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger the former because it was the first one I properly watched, with the deliciously evil Dr. Mikoto Nakadai stealing the show. Madan Senki Ryukendo had the best special effects I've seen in a 52-episode TV show ever. However, my absolute favourite has to be GARO- a shockingly adult take on a familiar genre that's both a brilliant story and a special effects spectacular. The final battle is downright epic.

Densha Otoko, Hana Yori Dango, Gokusen, Kimi Wa Petto, Kurosagi and Nobuta Wo Produce.

hobbies (aside from photography): I like writing stories, though I've never managed to finish one. I channel most of my best ideas into D&D campaigns, and I enjoy running and playing tabletop roleplaying games. When I'm not crafting worlds or the like, I'm playing computer games. I played FFXI for a while but eventually grew tired of it, and I'm toying around with World of Warcraft at the moment. I'm also interested in animegao kigurumi.

Drawing, Music, Acting, Writing, Browsing Internets, Lots of Geek Stuff (XD) and Shopping!

ambitions: Mainly, I'd like to do photography as a career. I also want to visit Japan at least once in my life, and watch an animegao stage show live. I'd like to try animegao cosplay myself one day, and try a full-body cosplay. On the "whims" level, I want to learn how to play the violin, how to draw respectably, and sleight of hand.

Spend some time working in Japan . That’s as far ahead as I’ve thought!

origin of your name: It's a remnant of my fascination with Yu-Gi-Oh many years ago. When I started using Apprentice to play online, I had "BEUD" (Blue Eyes Ultimate Duelist) as my username. That changed to "REUD" (Red Eyes Ultimate Duelist) when some upstart stole my username from under my nose, which got shortened to "Red Eyes", which in turn became just "Redkun". Plus as a nice bonus, the letters for "red" happen to make up half of my real name. I use the name Air on high score boards though, since they happen to be my real initials.

Haruhi – I cosplayed Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club at the last minute for Amecon 06, my friends told me I was just like her so I agreed. Since then they’ve called me Haru-chan. I guess it just stuck.

Seraphim Cry – Who knows! I liked angels at the time but every website I went on already had someone called Seraphim so I added the Cry part (so emo I know haha). You’ll find some people just call me Seraphim though ^^
