Welcome to Cosplay Snap, a website dedicated to cosplay and lolita fashion photography in the UK. This website is a collaboration between Redkun and Seraphim Cry for us to showcase the best of British cosplay, offer our services to cosplay events or aspiring cosplayers, and get in better touch with the UK cosplay community.

[04-06-2008] We are now accepting bookings for private photo shoots at Amecon! The times that we'll be available for shoots is over on the Photo Shoots page. If you have a specific photographer in mind then our individual availabilities are also shown there.

Be sure to use the form template provided on the page when sending us an email to make both your life and ours much easier. We look forward to seeing you all at Amecon!

[24-06-2008] About a month and a half to go for Amecon. We'll be officially opening up registrations for photo shoots at the start of July, once we've figured out what times we'll be available for shoots. Please, please, please don't ask us if we can pencil you in early before the registrations have officially opened: we want to be able to treat everyone equally and once registrations are open then there will be a timetable available for you to pick a time you like. In the meantime, enjoy these photo shoots by Seraphim of Haruhi and Mikuru from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Doctor Who. Also, our new Featured Photo Shoot is of Sands' award-winning Ixion cosplay.

[27-05-2008] Just a quick note to say thanks to all the great cosplayers who had photoshoots with me at Expo. I had a great time and I hope you all did too. I'm heading off to Disneyland Paris (w00t!) this weekend for my 21st so as soon as I get back I'll get started on processing the photos. I took like 2,000!

I'm also getting rid of the Haruhi alias and sticking with the one most people know me as Seraphim Cry. Its less confusions that way.

Next up - Amecon!

[20-04-2008] Sorry for the lateness of this update. Between my university commitments and the fact that this updating thing now takes a lot longer to do, it's been hard to find the time. But there's only a few weeks left until Expo and some important information to deal out.

Haruhi's current timetable is currently up on the Photoshoot page. If the time you want is booked, then don't despair; keep checking in case there's any cancellations. She will be staying at a hotel in the area on Saturday and Sunday nights and will be available for photo shoots then. She'll also be available during the day, so the best thing to do is keep an eye out for her, or to ask the Cosplay Desk (who will have her latest schedule). Haruhi might also be available on the Friday night.

Photo shoot wise, I finished my final Minami shoot a few weeks back: the interesting crossover combination of Black Lady & Suiseiseki. Enjoy!

[20-04-2008] I've had a bit of computer trouble lately, which delayed the last of my Minamicon photo shoots and the updating of this website. Before I was using Frontpage to update the site, and now I find that it no longer exists. Figures. Two new photo shoots are up: the incomparable trio of Wessex Robo, and the main two characters of Howl's Moving Castle, as portrayed by Sands and White Leviathan.

I've recieved quite a few emails on the subject and so I want to answer them now: Cosplay Snap will be attending May Expo in a limited capacity; I will not be attending, but Haruhi will and she is taking bookings for photo shoots. I'll be updating with her current availability list soon. In the meantime, if you would like to book a photoshoot then you can find out how on our Photoshoots page.

[24-03-2008] Go go huge update. I have three new Private Photo Shoots up: Sands' superb Final Fantasy X-2 Rikku, the Wessex Anime Society's Dragon Quest VIII group and Rozen Maiden's Suigintou as portrayed by Dark Fairy. Also, last week I attended the AASOC MiniCon in Edinburgh with Cosplay Scotland. Fun times were had, and here's the gallery.

[12-03-2008] Two new Private Photo Shoots from me: Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta from Dragonball GT and Sailor Moon & Sailor Pluto from the Seramyu Musicals. Also, we have a new Featured Photo Shoot: Sakura (art book ver.) from Tsubasa Chronicle.
